| THIS PAGE WILL FEATURE WEEKLY ADOPTION STATISTICS WITH PICTURES OF THE PETS THAT WERE ADOPTED February 5, 2009 Dear Lauri & Karen, We wanted to thank you for EVERYTHING you have done! She (Sadie) is feeling much better today. I am not sure if it is something she ate or if she is just "adjusting" to her surroundings. She is back to her rambunctious puppy self today. The fact that you took her back after we already had her for a week and cared for her really shows that YOU and your organization care for the well-being of the animals. Continue to keep up the hard work that you put into the organization! We will send you picture of Sadie in a month or so, so that you can see what a big girl she has become. We wish you all the best of luck! Thanking you once again, Steve & Mitzi This puppy became ill after she had been in her new home for a week. She was taken back and nursed back to health by the HSI and then returned to her owners. The above was the e-mail we received thanking us for our efforts and expressing the gratitude of her owners. THANK YOU, Steve & Mitzi, for offering one of our pets a forever, loving, caring home! We hope you send us photos of her soon. March 7, 2009, by e-mail: Just a note to let you know, so far so good. We gave him a bath and went and bought him toys and a new collar. I had to get in the tub with him to wash him but he did real good with it. He follows my husband around everywhere. We have had him out in our yard most of the day. We have to get the rest of our fence up so we can let him outside without a leash and it will give him a lot of room to run. Our cat seems like he may tolerate him. The cat is just mad at us right now because he has been the only one in our house for 10 years now, but he should adjust. E-mail back any time if you like. We will send a picture soon. Let me know when you are going to be at the flea market again and we will bring Clyde by the see you. Thank you, Colleen & Terry Clyde was rescued along with his sister, Bonnie, about 2 years ago. Bonnie found a home a little while ago, but Clyde continued to wait. At last, success!! We are thrilled that Clyde now has a home of his own with a couple who really loves him!! |
By e-mail, 03/18/09: Margret: Here are some pics of Eddie. We are enjoying him so much, he is so cute and cuddly and playful. He is a wonderful addition to our family. Thank you. The DeGennaro Family. Received by e-mail, May 9, 2009: Thank you so much for our new baby Callie! Peter Received by e-mail August 14, 2009: My wife, Shauna and I, got Chewey from you about this time last year. He was one of a number of Pit Bull puppies that you had rescued from a suspected dog fighting operation. He also had his tail docked after the original owner tried doing it with a rubber band. Well, needles to say, Chewey is doing great. He is a true joy. He graduated from puppy class about 6 months ago (graduated at the top of the class, or at least I say he did!) and has been growing to be a wonderful addition to our home. Thank you for bringing us together! Steve & Shauna. |
