| Dear Margret, We would like to let everyone know about a few great events. Thanks to Halo Purely For Pets food company and www.freekibble.com for donating 3,000 lbs of dog food to our kennels! Halo foods 3,000 lbs of dog food to our kennels! Halo foods are made totally out of human ingredients and it has been a wonderful diet for our rescues! Please click daily on www.freekibble.com to help that website continue to provide donated food to other rescues. Each click counts as a visit and for each visit, companies donate. The bad news is that the 3,000 lbs only lasted a month for us. We need more already! |

| ADOPTIONS In 2008, we found new homes for 869 dogs & cats. In 2009, we found new homes for a total of 1,066 dogs and cats. Despite this figure, we have had to almost double our expenses to maintain our rescue program. With the economy the way it is, expenses are through the roof! We had to add another adoption location and double our kennel staff in order to achieve what we have done thus far. Having volunteers to help at weekend adoption events, transport the animals and man the fundraisers will help us tremendously! |
